Our Latest Newsletter Has Been Released!
March 2012 Issue of Mary Queen of Families Has Been Released
We’ve been busy preparing our latest newsletter in time for you to participate in the Novena of Masses and Devotional Prayers in Honor of St. Joseph. The Novena begins on March 11.
This issue of the newsletter contains updates on our ministries, photos from past events and more about the call to vocations. Feel free to download the issue and share with your friends.
Here’s an excerpt of what you’ll find in the March issue:
“Today it is difficult to promote religious vocations to the youth because the seeds of a divine vocation have not been planted in them, especially due to the lack of faithful parenting. I often preach:
“If parents don’t pray, their children won’t pray.”
“If parents don’t go to Church, their children won’t go to Church.”
“If parents don’t love God and communicate with Him, their children won’t experience true love, because you cannot give what you do not have.”
The priesthood and the consecrated life are radical vocations to live the Gospel, so if children are not living a virtuous life and answering their universal call to holiness, chances are, they probably won’t want to look any further in giving their life completely to God in a divine vocation of service. “
